Year: 1953
Status:Resolved

Comments:

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Business and Professional Women's Clubs of Ontario investigate and report upon a scheme whereby women in offices of smaller companies could pay into a pension and the employer would voluntarily pay a like sum. This would be arranged so that in change of position the money paid in would not be lost but would be carried on. This measure would entail employers in smaller offices getting more competent help as all persons are now interested in having security.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Provincial Board be authorized to appoint a committee to carry out this resolution.
