THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Business and Professional Women's Clubs of Ontario strongly urge the Government of Ontario:
i) to initiate and implement a comprehensive system to monitor the payment and support orders and take the necessary steps to explore the possibility of implementing such on a National scale through the co-operation of the other Provinces, Territories and Federal Government.
ii) to enforce payment by automatically garnisheeing or attaching the defaulter's wages, salary or any monies due or accruing due to the defaulter when a payment is not made.
iii) to amend the Family Law Reform Act, Children's Law Reform Act, or applicable legislation to include the enforcement process.
