THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Business and Professional Women’s Clubs of Ontario urge the Minister of Education and Minister of Health to include body image issues in the curriculum of primary, junior and senior grades in order to prevent perpetuation of destructive stereotypical body images and the development of eating disorders.
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the Business and Professional Women’s Clubs of Ontario urge the Minister of Education and the Minister of Health to provide parental education concurrently with education of junior, primary and senior grades with respect to body image issues in the curriculum of primary, junior and senior grades in order to prevent the perpetuation of destructive stereotypical body images and the development of eating disorders.
