THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Business and Professional Women's Clubs of Ontario urge the Economic Council of Ontario to study the social, business and industrial attitudes affecting women's motivation in seeking education and employment with a view to promoting changes in present social, educational and industrial practices (including vocational counseling, employment, recruitment, rates of pay, promotion, training and re-training, hours of work, work techniques, social services such as child care, etc.) so as to encourage and enable women to develop their potential and use their abilities to the full, thereby enhancing the quality of life in the Province.
