Business and Professional Women (BPW) develops the business, professional and leadership potential of people who identify as women on all levels through advocacy, education, mentoring, networking, skill-building, and economic empowerment programs.
Our Vision
BPW works toward achieving equal status for people who identify as women, at all levels and areas of society, where decisions are taken in true partnership based on mutual respect for a more balanced and peaceful world.
Advocating for Women’s Equality Since 1932
Business and Professional Women (BPW) is a non-sectarian, non-profit, non-partisan organization that works to improve economic, political, social, and employment conditions for women.
Founded in 1932, BPW Ontario is an association of BPW clubs across the province. Each Ontario Club member enjoys membership in BPW Canada, a founding member of BPW International. There are BPW Clubs in more than 95 countries. BPW International has held Consultative Status at the United Nations since 1947.
Joining a BPW club connects people who identify as women to an international network working together for equality and change. Local clubs hold monthly events that may include guest speakers, workshops, networking, fundraising, and more while utilizing four cornerstones: learn, lead, advocate, and collaborate.
Each BPW club works to improve the lives of girls and women, locally and around the world.
At BPW you can expect lively discussion, friendship, learning, and participation in a way that fits your lifestyle. Reach out to a local club to learn more or contact BPW Ontario.
