Interest on Contributions in Employment Pensions Plans - 1982

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Business and Professional Women's Clubs of Ontario request the Government of Ontario to amend the Pension Benefits Act to add the provision that interest calculated as a minimum, at one (1) per cent below the annualized invested rate realized by the employer be
a)paid to an employee receiving a refund on termination of employment for the full period of their service, or
b)credited to the locked-in funds for the full period of the employee's service and annually thereafter until pension benefits commence.
